You Know You Want To

Hey. I guess I can't recall what I wanted to type (wow, 3 "I"'s in a row! I sound conceited, don't I).

So, I'll drop a quote and proceed to think.

Hi, Andrey! I am from Ukraine, but I like the way you play. Could you please tell me if it’s possible to study in college and play football seriously at the same time?
A.A
.: It’s possible at an amateur level. It’s also possible, while studying in college, not only play football, but also chase after girls.

Well. There was this amazing game called football, that we played against SMI. Anderson versus SMI (Form 4 setup, friendly amongst friends), guess who won! 10-0! :D Though I admit we had 4 Form 5's (including meself, do I sound extra-conceited now?), but hey, two of those barely know how to kick a ball. Well, I have to admit they can, but you certainly can't find decent footballers with worse ball control. (Note: If you don't fancy football fill-ins on your blogreads, skip the next few paragraphs).

It was a great deal of fun though, playing an offside line (imagine that. What the.) . And most of the time just standing there waiting for the "rocket" to blaze infront of people to steal the ball away from them, at, well, you guessed it. Rocket speed. Gael Clichy if you ever could find one. School runner maa. What do you expect. Or more like sprinter for school sports house. Well, actually I did have work to do.

And I notched my second career-backheader! This move is usually defensive, incredibly baffling, and always memorable. But awesome nonetheless, besting my record-heading career tally of 0! A big fat zero! (Helps if you wear spectacles, heading with your forehead =O). All while I was still waking up.

Andyways, 10-0! Yes. We scored a beautiful split of 5 in the first half, and 5 in the second. Running on far less substitutes than them, It was a phenomenal win! We had only 3 substitutes. Rolling subs though.

Moving on for the football-illiterate,

Guess what. I remember what I wanted to say. Swift says, brace myself for the goodbyes. But I don't know HOW. How? I rarely experience goodbyes en masse, and them friendships a large amount I started barely 2 years ago! Tell me howwwwww. Lol. Anyway. It's okay, it's alright. It's just the end, but it means another beginning. And I'll have to pick up Canto/Mando. Great. Bummer.

Er so well. Back to the main point before I head back to dreamland (it's my second home now). There's gonna be a lot of so'long's and shoo's and "I'll miss you *sob* *sob*" moments but above all a very important point to ponder on is. In these friendships, have I done my part? Have I left behind memories that friends can cherish? Well, I guess at least I won't be remembered for all the wrong reasons (some may beg to differ), but I don't know. These kind of things are hard to convey in words. I'd probably require some telepathy, or something funky.

Yeah, anyway. As I end. to them friends. You know who you are. Trust me, you do =)

Where Ever

Hey, here I am. I'm proud to say, I've not wasted much of these past 4 years being around here =). But it's time to get up and start movin' round, God knows where I'll be after SPM. NS will be time to refocus myself, but whether it is really worth it, given the things I have left around to do. And work, I really need to get my cashflow running first. Still haven't decided, which instrument. Bass/Electric guitar, or Keyboard-synth? =o

And well, there'll certainly be things to put myself to good use to. Maybe I can get a few days off from NS to handle it. Just maybe.

Fitness.

And crud. Tuition cancelled. Well, maybe can get out for a jog. Yeah, that's about it.

4:12

I'd repost this. As I am in melancholy around an unspecified time.

You’ve been having trouble staying asleep
You been waking up at 4:12
You roll the voices over in your head
Then you try to put them neatly on the shelf

You watch the sun rise
Saw the darkness had no choice before the dawn
With your own eyes
And then you broke out laughing from a yawn

I’m so sorry I’ve been so down
I started doubting things could ever turn around
And I began to believe that all we are is material
It’s nonsensical

One thing matters in this life.  Do you believe it?

Heydays That Were.

24 hours into November. A few commonly-breached social norms on Facebook & Twitter.

  • Excessive exclamation marks!!! Like yeah you're so excited!!!! Whatt!!!!!=
  • Liking _every_ single status update of yours. C'mon, please.
  • Liking _every_ single status update of mine. It's not that bad, but are you seriously so at a loss for words? Comment please.
  • Commenting on _every_ status update of mine, in a carefree - care-less manner. Even when I'm serious. Please?
  • Twitter - Status updating every 10 minutes while you're online for hours on end. *Clicks unfollow button*
  • Excessive exclamation marks!!! Again!!!!
Less than 24 days away from the day. But. Not worth talking up.

Life is not what I thought it was, twenty four hours ago. And I'm not who I thought I was either. ~ Switchfoot

And I gotta say. Hey, cheer up =)

(I'm not capable of scuffing together more than 2 related sentences at the moment, do bear with).

And hey, I'm dreaming of people I never get to meet in real life. How real can you get? :)

Working with 140 characters has dulled my writing! Oh noes.

Well, alright. I went to school today! Amazing, not? And guess what. We had Add Maths lecture in the PSM, with a non-functioning speaker setup, and a portable PA setup, just with the A in it (read: no mike!). Ha. So lecture turns to "lecture", and there you have it. Teachers just go around helping students who ask. And the rest do what they do best.

They played Connect 5, I played Connect 4 with them (Arnold, Adrian, Joshua Yau, Lee Eu Chris). Then recess was awesome as freshly-fried Hash Browns. Continue with attempts at Additional Maths (which was apparently in latin), and everyone wavered off. I attempted sleep, which was successful bar a Chris unintentionally nudging me with his attempts to play Connect (Word?).

Then Dahrick falls over in his chair halfway, shouting for help from Daneish "Dan" Selvakumar, which was to no avail given his gay tone in screaming "help!". He then falls all the way, dropping his eraser into a giant crevice at the window (PSM is stadium-esque seating, with a raised platform and a distinct lack of professionalism). Elden Mah retrieved it, and we discovered the printing press of Anderson! One up on Gutenberg, ha!

School ended in a bunch of uneventful minutes, and we were off! And so am I now.
