Looking to the Skies

You disappoint me.

Is that how you love your neighbours?

Brand me whatever you want.

But I believe I got the job done. Whether you dislike my methods is negligible.

This post was written a long time ago.
Even the people involved in this matter wouldn't understand so yea.

Hello world.

Everyone around me is trying to make a statement.
I’m just trying to survive.

Saturday 28 November 2009

The Greatest Gift of All

Been caught up with a ton of stuff lately. And it's clashing up and down, and I don't really want it at times. But I just found a part of me. That wants to smile throughout these hard times. And I don't know whether I can believe it. Whether I'll pull it through.

But there's no turning back. And I'll be in weakness. And I'll find strength. Or, actually, strength finds me (=

But hear me out, I'm just a guy.
Who happens to be passing by.
What I'm doing, I don't know why.
But I trust in His name lifted high.

No...

Kia!

Ahaha... I lost my Nokia 3100. And my parents got me a Nokia 5220 as a replacement. Woohoo. Although I kind of regret the losing all my precious numbers from far far away. Anyway, pictures off the Net for now. I'm too lazy to fetch the cable.

Woohoo. Deluxe pic!

Date of Purchase: 25/10

There is a 3.5mm (standard size) jack at the top, nicely placed. <3 div="" nokia.="">

I'll get up a custom pic soon. Tomorrow. For now, just stop drooling. =D

The...

These past few weeks really flew by. I don't know what else to say. - 17th October 2009

A line typed out in my blog on that very day. As of now, and the year as a whole, time's still flying. On and on and onnnn.

Another sun-soaked season fades away. And I'm living in the moment, wanting to live in the movement. And I'll always have my regrets, but I'll never forget. Cause everything comes alive when you're doing it for God. (=

Neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Freedom Is Here!

I know it's kinda late... but. EXAMS are OVER!!! =D >;-D-\-<

And I plan to. become. Fit! Hahahaha. To change this world. To... after this, it'll all sound to ambitious.

I feel the world turning, it's heart beating, and the adrenaline pumping

Wednesday 28 October 2009

Alive and (Not So) Free

I'm alive =D. And I haven't touched my blog for close to a month. =O blame it on twitter.

Exams have been coming and going, the good, bad, and ugly all taking form throughout. JUST ONE MORE WEEK. Then it'll be over! Haha.

Guitar has been (weirdly enough) distracting me from my studies. Or is it because it's definitely more attractive than my books? Or because I'm more emo nowadays on the inside? Agh. Dunno la. =p

Twitter twitter twitter twitter twitter =P. Annoying distracting amusing thing (=

Do look on the sidebard for the twitter app =p

I need some everlasting, some freedom.
Any recommendations?

It's Changing How We Live Now!

The Plan '09. Yeah. Haha. A brand new start with a brand new heart. A lot of reaffirmations of what I've been learning over the past few years. And met a few of my pastor's friends. Haha. Truly was an eye opener in some aspects though. I'm loving my church more and more (=.

And we had good food. Good accomodations. Good sound system. But as with plenty sound systems with a sound guy handling the mixing console, the mix wasn't up to scratch. I have no idea why is it always like that. 'Cept for that one band, and that one band has produced CD's already so yeah.

=D -out-

Thursday 24 September 2009

The Back

I'm back in Ipoh. And once again, my holidays are going, going, gone. =/

But The Plan '09 was awesome. And God was even more awesome! =D

Will update, heading for football! Haha. Kudos to Puvi. He's the organiser of sorts.

I could use a fresh beginning too.
Seriously, all of my regrets are nothing new

Aaaite. What do I say?

The New Pandemic In Town.

I don't think you've heard of it, but P1N1 is fast spreading through KL, JB and Ipoh. Be cautious, it transmits wirelessly. More info click here

Sunday 2 August 2009

Testimony.

Well. OK. Haha. This is after The Reveal. I went to Ipoh Garden East to have lunch. Well, yea. Then the uncle of the stall aite. He's a friendly guy la. So while I'm ordering, he asks me whether I got pray for his leg anot.

Note: He was involved in an accident, injured his leg badly. He wasn't at the stall for a few months, his wife took care of it.

I was very blank, and answered truthfully la. I didn't. Then he asked whether I'm a Christian. I obviously answered yes la. Then he said, tomorrow (which is a Sunday) pray for me OK? Then I said "of course, uncle" with a smile. Then he told me this. He's a Christian! And he just converted a few months ago! =D

Well, the special thing about this is. When I pray for my food, I make it a habit to pray for the person who made the food. And I visit that specific stall 2-4 times a week. So yea =D. It worked! Thank you God (= =D =P =D (= =)

Edit: The best thing about this is that he's a really nice guy. Hahahahahahahaha.

Jer 33:6 - Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.

Anderson (H1N1)

Well. Here's the closest thing you'll get to real information. This is real information. Here's what happened throughout the whole fiasco.

Rumours about Anderson floating around.
  • 3 confirmed cases
  • 14 confirmed cases
  • School is closing down
  • Many many many more
The truth is.

  • 27th of July, the school detected 30-40 students in the hostel having influenza symptoms. Students know nothing about this.
  • 28th of July. Emergency assembly conducted, about A(H1N1). Announced the previous point, and they clearly stated that its' "just influenza, not H1N1, ok?". And that there are no confirmed cases. Those who have symptoms are requested to go to the hall for checkup, there were some medical personnel handing out masks, and Paracetamol to those with fever. And Robitussin (something for cough) to those with cough.
  • 29th of July. NOTHING. No checkup available. School as normal.
  • 30th of July. My friend's mum, who is a doctor, recieved information that there are 2 confirmed cases. This is real stuff, I'm very sure. PLEASE READ THE NEXT PARAGRAPH.
Wait. Take a deep breath. Hostel boys "live in their own world" and rarely mix outside of it. They even have their own special classes, dubbed "Kelas Rancangan Khas". This is basically a group of "elite" students. They might be excelling in academics or sports, and they're there. Basically, it didn't spread outside of that "social bubble".

Summary. There ARE confirmed cases. But on the 1st of August, there's this thing called "Program Pelancongan Pelajar", and it's really big, cause Tan Sri Muhiyiddin Yassin came down. And so did many schools from ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. So, if the school closed the week before it happened, we'd lose one of the biggest events they'll (school authorities) ever get.

So, the SELFISH INCONSIDERATE SCHOOL AUTHORITIES decide to put A WHOLE NATION AT STAKE and not close down the school.

Updated info as of 3rd August

The school announces that they "haven't recieved the results from the analysis centre, even though they were told it would take 3-5 days to get the results". It's a blatant lie. But the school still ain't closing yea.

This Is Your Life

Yea. Everything comes alive. So.

Been through alot of stuff, time is like flying out the window. And I can't catch it no matter what I do. Stop please? (=

We had the CCC - Crossover Charity Concert '09 on the 4th of July. Yet another Leo Club project (we helped out la). It takes up alot of time, mind you. Hahaha. Mr. Katoon!!! Was!!! AmaZinG!!!!!!! LOL. So was Famous Crew and Soul Crew. But Mr. Katoon beat them flat. What he did looked IMPOSSIBLE. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Oh yea. I'm "condensing" or "expanding" my secular music fast. Now adds in any Christian Secular-ite such as The Fray, Lifehouse and OneRepublic. To Switchfoot and Anberlin, and that's plenty of music. Have Parachute Band and Desperation Band as backups, they do have a few sweeet ones. Haha. And plenty of worship between them and Hillsong and Planetshakers, and Chris Tomlin, and Jeremy Camp, and and and and so much more. And yea, maybe I'll singalong to a few radio hits or smtg. No ever-so-slightly dirty stuff though. To bring your church-ness into the world. Not that easy eh.

And yea. MC CF is hosting The Reveal, a what you call that, offshoot of TNT. Do attend!

Date : 1 August 2009
Time : 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Venue : Main Convent Upper Hall

Yeap. It's free. FREE!!! Live band. Matthew Dass'll be coming down as the speaker. Haha. [It's an evangelistic event by the way (=] Grab your peeps. All of them. Nowwww!!!

To Turn From Oneself

I just broke one of my picks. LOL. I don't know why, but I'm happy that I did hahahahahaha.

Next up. People asking me whether I kena NS. -.-

After that. Sickening debate teams from SMK Clifford and SMK St. George V's or something. I got 5 words to comment - I have nothing to say

Next is. PJ. Which means football in my school. It rained earlier in the morning. So guess what. NOBODY brought their PJ clothes. And I brought mine for the first time, argh. )=

Stopping doesn't stop my single line blogging. Arghhh

Thursday 25 June 2009

Yes, We're Going All The Way

Haha. So yeah. Some day right. I waltzed out of my school LK room to make a phone call. Looked at the form 5 block opposite. Saw a friend also calling right opposite. Lol.

Well yea. I'm taking BK! Hahahahahaha. Hohmm. It all will fall into place. I'm sure it will. Yea. It will.

This looks like twitter soz i better cut it and start afresh.

Tuesday 16 June 2009

Back

Yea, back.

Yea, Sarawak was nice. Cool. But had lotsa free time there though. Haha. Still, had fun and all. Shopping was great. (= But I missed so many things back here, from marching to birthdays to club stuff to football. )=. Ne'er mind, it's not every year even that I get to go to my cousin's place and all. Haha.

School. And everything else. Ack. It's still OK, but it's gonna gear up soon. )=. Watching classmates blatantly lie to the teachers. Running around, the fun part though. Good exercise! Haha. Oh the drama, as 2 wallets get stolen in the span of 3 days.

And just wanted to note. People like to quote song for inspiration. But I believe spoken scripture (spoken with proper delivery of course) is more powerful. Especially in prayer. Psalms are beauty in disguise. And all that yadayada in the Prophets. It's gonna be useful someday.

Monday 8 June 2009

Leavin' Whether I Like It Or Not

Goodbye Ipoh.

I'll be missing you.

I never flew before too. My 6 year old cousin's tagging along and he'll be having his first flight same time as me. So unfair right -.0'

Saw the rest there. Yea, story is up @ Aaron's Blog. Something or something. Or try Sue's or my sister's. Haha.

Farny wei. But played only 20 minutes ha. But better that way, only got the wonder form for a few minutes, then later most of us had tuition together so yeah. Haha (=

Next up was me myself and Onlining. Lol. Went till 1am, like nuts wei. Next day was tired the whole day. Lol. Yea, and after Lost World till today, bathing doesn't cool all the heat off like it used to. I'm not sure why. Maybe metabolism changing haha. (=

Yea, and yea. Smile. Cus I just came back from. Yea. Another time la.

Waiting, waiting.

Tuesday 2 June 2009

All I Need

Life is a day that doesn't last for long.

Hohum. One week more, I'll be in Sarawak. Then, when I come back, the hols'll be over. What..

Life is more than money.
Time was never money.

The sacrifices we make. Oh well.
That one message was enough (=
To be different? To be better? Are they the same?

Life is still worth living. Life is still worth living =D

To apologize. You know who you are.

The Darkness Had No Chance Before the Dawn

Sigh.

It's starting to take its toll.

But I know joy's coming in the morning. That's for sure.

Someday I'm gonna find it.
I wish I knew what I was looking for.

*before I could reply*
Puvi - You don't say your marks ah, trying to show off la you!

[a_CROSS//the_EARTH] :: Tear Down the Walls

Yea. Beauty-ful album. Do praise God while singing it (= =DD

There's quite some more keyboard parts compared to previous albums, yeah. The first track's one (Freedom Is Here) is particularly of my interest due to it's simplicity and beauty (=.

Get it. It's great. It really is. But God is greater hahahahaha.

Yea, and exams. Doing my well, OK, lah Ok. Moral is a mess. But it's just a mess. Just like plenty people's desks. Haha.

And ye, the light is in sight! Friday. CF will beautifully end the whole hullabaloo in this life. Haha.

Tuesday 12 May 2009

=D =) =D =P

Exams! BM! Failure looms for the most of us. Aha. With all the top boys writhing in the face of the paper, "I just write my own reasons". Lol. Yea, we don't know much. Not about BM. Thank God, tomorrow is English, more or less an off day for me. Haha. See yaz

Thursday 7 May 2009

Yea yea. The "big" day's over. And yea, I'm wearing black. Not exactly on purpose though.

I don't know how I pulled through the week, but I did it. Thanks to you, God (=

Here's a little something for some something.

Let your love be strong, and I don't care what goes down
Let your love be strong enough to weather through the thunder cloud
Fury and thunder clap like stealing the fire from your eyes
All of my world hanging on your love - Switchfoot

Politics...

I don't think I can contain it any longer. The coup has gone too far. Please please please, just let us have our say.

And yea, everybody's power-hungry. But you should know whose side I'm leaning toward. =|

Only one hope

Saturday 2 May 2009

ISCF Camp Reunion!

Yeah. Nice to see almost everyone again. more than 3 quarter of the peoples were presenet! Lol. Thank God for pulling me & carpool through. Long long long story (=. I'll post it up sometime, for personal memory.

DIGI R.A.P.!

So yeah! I was given a chance to work for DIGI! Yes, really!!! Hahahahahaha. Yea, I know it's a bit perasan. Sorry, haha. But yea, glory to God. This is DIGI R.A.P. Northern Regional finals, 25th April 2009.

Well. What is R.A.P.? From the website
R.A.P. is a DiGi initiative to encourage proper English usage amongst primary school children. R.A.P. is targeted at encouraging students in Standard 4, 5, and 6 to read and express themselves in English through stage plays.
Yeah, went over to SJK(C) Yuk Choi (they were using the hall for the event) on Friday right from CF, to help out for the rehearsals. Was handling food, due to just-adequate manpower. It's kinda fun dealing with the kids, they're blur a bit, and very kwai, is it. Uh, good boy good girl kinda thing. Easy to deal with lol.

Lessee. Handed out Gardenia buns, some yogurt carton drinks, The Chicken Rice Shop (TCRS) chicken rice, and DiGi water bottles! Lol. The last one is so cool, I have one just for collection. Haha. Yea, managed to catch the rehearsals too. For primary school kids, they're really impressive man. The best actors can actually win awards when pitted against my school team even, I bet. Even got to see my old primary school, SK Cator Avenue in action! They had one of the most impressive actors also! Haha. He had really good facial expressions, and wasn't afraid to interact with the audience.

Yea, and I got to eat chicken rice for TCRS.  Wasn't bad. I dislike the veggie though.

On the real day! Went to Yuk Choi @ 8. Briefing was @ 8.30, by Lion Simon. He's a strict one. Got chosen to handle backstage. Yeah. Was fun doing backstage, IMO. We had to help:

  • Set up props
  • Usher/prep contestants
  • Remove props
  • Shoo contestants after their play is over
  • Help carry up new props
And the last one. Set up mikes/headsets, the key task. Cus the kids are still young, so we can't let them do it themselves, the headsets aren't that cheap ya know. Yea, the mikes and headsets are the same thing. It's something like headphones without the speakers, just a mike. And it's supposed to be fitted on the ears. And yea, we have to make sure it can't/won't fall off, whether by taping them to the contestants or whatnot. And we have to be on our toes, cause sometimes we have to change mikes during scenes. Haha.

Anyway. I was with Carl. Lol. Yea, we did, or mostly, he did a lot of ding dong-worthy stuff. Such as. Lip-syncing horribly. LOL!!! And yea, we disturbed some of the contestants while they were waiting up for their scene. Hahaha. And even got to chat with Lion Baki Zainal.

Cheong - "You're so handsome today, Baki."
Baki - "Yeah, thank you very much."
Cheong - "OK, you have to pay me RM50 for bodek (ego massage)."
Baki - "S***! KL rate cheaper!"
Everybody - "hahahahahaha XD"

OK. After that. Saban a.k.a. Ben, Zenny, Ashraf, and Azizi performed! It was cool, but I didn't get to watch it. Had to "usher" the school representatives, for the award ceremony. So yeah. Then, clean up. Was interesting actually. Then loaded stuff into Lion Simon's Alfa Romeo! Ahahaha. Nice car la. Doesn't even have a logo, only a sticker on the windshield. Lol.

Yea, that was it. Stuff brought home. DIGI R.A.P. Shirt (oh yeah, was wearing XS! Yea, XS!!! Like lol). DIGI bottle! Lol. Handful of Gardenia Bread. Muesli Bars. Yeah. There was a RM50, but it went to the club so yeah. I don't mind. The experience was worth it, man. Kinda miss it. /= Never mind. Yea, thank God, I didn't mess anything up. (=

Tuesday 28 April 2009

VCC Camp '09!

Hahaha. Yeah. Camp was great. Awesomefying too probably.

Well. I'll skip to sessions. Session 1 was about selection, that we were selected, or chosen by God to be in His kingdom right now. Ps. Bernard Hull, the speaker from the U.K., used a lot of "S" words this session. Hmmm, can't be bothered to dig up the verses right now. An important point, Ep 4:30.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

The message over the sessions revolved around Ephesians 4, so go scout around there. Haha. Let's see. Words highlighted by Mr. preacher. Spiritual selection of the Son, sealed by the Spirit. A few more I can't recall. Gah. Never mind. I'll go rummage through someone's notes

Session 2. Growing. Message was about how to grow. And some pointers for the Church. Hmmm. One description example or whatever you call it was, like a fig tree.

[Caution! Pretty long story]

During a certain dry season, a person's toilet water/whatever wasn't flowing out to the sewage(ugh, true story btw). So, the Pastor had a look at the situation, and noticed a fig tree in the neighbour's back yard. He immediately suspected that the fig tree, which has powerful water-sensing instincts, and pretty long roots too, might have detected a tiny leak in the person's drainage pipe, and sent it's roots far and wide to the source of water, all because it was desperate. True enough, that was the case, and the Pastor managed to uproot the fig tree and fix everything, not alone of course. With some help.

Therefore, we should be like the fig tree, searching far and wide for God. And yea, a note of my own. The fig tree hit a real jackpot, albeit during the dry season. Plentiful sewage, water's all the same to it, no? Breakthrough, wasn't it. Yea, breakthrough comes when we need breakthrough. Haha. Anyway, words highlighted during this session. Grow, Gifts, Grace, God, Good. And a few more! Memory fails me ahh.

Third session. Forgot lol. Never mind.

VCC Camp '09!

Yeah. Just got back from my church camp. It was a blast. And, gah, my camera failed on me, maybe it doesn't like me anymore, since I haven't used it for a long loong time. I got a bunch of pictures though, but not during the camp itself. T_T

Never mind, it ain't about the pictures. Serene and Simon would have had their "final" church camp. They're both going off to study, so God bless them yea.

Camp was very enlightening spiritually. I think I'll post more up some other time.

Point of Difference

Haha... Yeah, it's the week-end of all. Good Friday => Easter, Jesus died, upon that tree, upon Calvary, and rose again. But what for. For the sins of the world... a world so ravaged by sin, it needs the Light once again.

Here's a song. It's not really related to the Resurrection nor the Crucifixion, but it's about God. And I believe it speaks of what the world needs. And I believe it comes from what the world will never take from us, Jesus our God.

Hillsong United - Point of Difference
Words & Music by Joel Houston

VERSE 1:
The tide is turning
This is redemption’s hour
In the midst of a world lost for love
You are all we have now
The lost returning
Salvation is all around
In the midst of a world broken down
You are all we have now
You are God
And this hope is ours
So Father

CHORUS:
Open the skies
Flood the earth with Your light
This is love to break a world indifferent
As we lift up our eyes
Fill our hearts with Your fire
In a world the same
We’ll be the different
The difference

VERSE 2:
Our hearts are burning
A fire that won’t burn out
In the midst of a world that’s grown cold
You are all we have now
The earth resounding
The anthem of Your renown
As we lift up our eyes
And look to Your glory

PRE CHORUS:
Call us out
Let the world see You are God
And this hope is ours
Call us out
Let the world see You are God
As we sing

BRIDGE:
Our eyes are open
Every chain now broken
We’re in this world but we are different
Let Your love become us
As we live to make You famous
We’re in this world but we are different

Call us out let the world see You are God
And one and only in this world
You are all we have now

It's all You are, it's all I want

It's all for You, I'm letting go

You'll never let me go

In the hope of Your freedom

Easter Egg-what?

Lol. Today was the combined meeting for Convent (MC) CF (Morn + Afternoon) and Anderson. Haha. Here's an outline of the planned events.

Committee Meeting - 11.30p.m. (HAHAHAH, it's a.m., but it was written as p.m. on my sis' schedule)
Can't really say much, didn't attend, obviously. This was [probably] mainly for their games session later, and was MC only.

Welcoming of Guests [smtg] - 12.00p.m.
Well. I came right before 12, left at 12 for lunch with JY.

Icebreaker - 12.30p.m.? [real time: 12.45 like that]
Well. Icebreaker was the paper on the back, write stuff on it. Lol. Dumb stuff la. Don't think I should post much up, other than SOMEBODY [me] scribbling "An-abelle!" on Jee An's back. Lol

Games - 1.00p.m.?
Haha. Games. They chucked me in the 1st group [aaah alphabetical order]. Group members ah. There wasn't much time to get their names straight, 'cause the game was really high-tempo. Recognised Chris and Alicia though. Lol. Hmm.

Goal of the game was to get 7 "ingredients" [pieces of paper], 7 "coloured" eggs [normal eggs with coloured paper stuck on them], and some "secret ingredient" [I hab no idea what this is] to make a "rainbow easter meal". Lol.

To get the ingredients, you had to:
  • Find the "stations", a.k.a. people. You have a list though, of people.
  • Identify the personality correctly, though they won't give you a straight answer. They will though if you push your answer convincingly.
  • Do a task. Most of the tasks were quite mild compared to what I've experienced before, lol.
To get the eggs, you had to literally find them wherever. You need to get 1 each of the 7 unique coloured eggs. They were coloured "according" to the rainbow.

The game was quite interesting to me, though I believe somebody sabotaged the eggs real bad. Though, I have to confess, my group "sabotaged" the eggs too, but that was clearly after we realised the game had ended. Andrew/Christine's group won. X_X. My group had finished all the tasks, but we were searching for that last egg for plenty of minutes. Never mind. Haha.

Praise & Worship - 2.15pm-2.30pm (somewhere inbetween)
Haha. P&W was.. quite fun. Though I think they should've miked up the guitars, or at least guitar. Or worked on positioning? Ah, never mind. Lol. It was quite solid barring the lack of guitar volume. Though the mikes were too sensitive like one of my church mikes, if you held it at arm's length, that would have been the suitable distance. Though I really believe God's presence was real there. So yeah.

Sharing? - 3.15pm
A team from SONG came over. They were decent, yea. Managed to get the message across. I won't really share much about my thought on this though. Though you are free to ask in person. Haha.

They finished on "My Redeemer Lives".

Ending - 4.00 like that
Hah. Ended with "Take It All". Still wondering. Why ah, song so high don drop key. My Redeemer was extremely high. Or somepeople say low. Never mind. Ah. But still, good la, ended on a -high- note. Haha.

Then! We proceeded! To! food

Food was basically pak pak pak session. Talking everywhere, lol. There wasn't enough drink though. And cups. But excess food lol. Biasa lerr. Then clean up, and balik. Haha.

Yea. Professional report writer Abel Chi ant you serbize. Kainly pay mi to make my english less poverty

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMYLO!

Haha. My long lost friend. Or something. Smtg. Though I couldn't really catch up over the past years, here it is. =D

Veryday

Edit: Switchfoot - 4:12 is a nice song. I like. I heart.

Note: you don't need to read this. You won't understand what happened, nor will you probably ever.

Nearly breaking down. I got too close to emotional for the first time. What's worse, it happened during tuition. Thankfully, no one noticed. Thank God, I pulled through without descending into depression. Thank You, for making me resilient enough to... get through it. And yes, you probably

You are my strength

Only one person would understand this.
This post was written sometime not recently.
The writer is free.
Obviously, this wasn't REALLY posted @ 4:12 in the morning.

Accepted, Acceptance

More camp details.

Lol. I was in Eirini (a group). Members:

Me
Joon Yang
Zhi Yang
Jeffrey Ng
Jessica Tan
Wai Wei
Sue Jenn

Haha. Had a fun time pretending to discuss sketch with them all. (=

Btw, Eirini means peace. The group names were based on the fruits of the spirit (in Greek). Of course, Agape (love) was removed, as it was the obvious one. We had:

Eirini - Peace
Ypomoni - Patience
Egkratia - Self-Control
Chrestotes - Kindness?
Pisti - Joy?
Leptos - Gentleness

Hmmm. Memory faded. Never mind.

Now for the camp theme! The camp theme was "Unveiled", with the "key" verse being 2Co 3:18.

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. -NKJV
Hmm. I think posting up my notes would be a bit... long. Never mind.

Anyway. Here's a list of campers who have blogs, who I've linked up to the right. Scroll down just a bit. Do tell me if I've missed out anyone.

ISCF Camp 2009!

OK. Well. Haha. Really had a fun time, and especially learnt alot from sessions. Learnt to read more. Learned to do more. Learned to love more. (=

Hmmm. Station games were, pleasant, so to speak. No more disgusting lime games, or coloured water, or whatever eeeee. Lol. Weeee. Haha.

Night games was really confusing, My team was the first to finish the first objective, last to do the second, and second (after some time, tied for first with 3 other groups) to reach a crucial point in the game. Though, we got 4th place lol. Haha. Eirini! Hold your Peace!

Sessions were... interesting! Pastor Ben, returning again, was still quite fresh in delivery of the word. Haha. A lot of interesting things happened during session - lah. Find the other blogs for details, haha =p

Though I really had a stressful time helping out with equipment, it was all worth it. A lot of things fell through by "accident", ahaha. Though, everything worked out well. (=

Well. Used up most of the last day on camp packing up stuff. Aaaaaaa missed the self made photog sessions aaaaaa. Never mind. God has better plans =D

Echoes

One week late. Haha. Had one crazy weekend last week. Yeah. Lessee. It's nothing compared to a band Veeps' schedule, but nevertheless scarifying. We had:

  • Wednesday stayed back for marching. Then go home, kena pump petrol. Swt. Reach home, half an hour to prep for tuition.
  • Settling lots of stuff on the Thursday & Friday before. A multi-hour meeting with inefficient people doesn't help zero the stress. Each day tuition some more.
  • Saturday was River "Sit in friend's house for an hour and a half" -Run-. Then went around for lunch, and arranging the stall for the big fiesta on Sunday. Then ran around to print and photostat some stuff, and went for Youth. Waa-h. Then busy cari people for the next day to help out...
  • Sunday was Church in the morn, and then to school after a bath. The fiesta. Was kinda tense when the food wa-n't selling. And we messed up a Shuffling competition. Luckily it went OK, with decent talent coming out, and everything ironing itself out in the end.
  • Then went walk for a drink with friends, then walked back, and there again for dinner. Swt. Then malam-malam, concert & FIREWORKS!!! That was a 15-minute long show, that kept my jaw open, and went over my head, literally. Balik about 12 something.
  • Monday, wake up 530 for marching. Marched from Ipoh Padang to school. I think I did quite badly, though.
And, it was over! Lol. Went McD for lunch after marching with a friend. Swt.

Anyway, i'm still reeling from the aftermath.

Life is a day that doesn't last for long

Inspirasi?

Hmmm.
In the dark
In the darkness you will find
Dirty little secrets we all hide
Cause we all have a darker side
A place we keep where no one else will find
[Some where later in the song]
We all try to hide our secrets awayyyy.
Yeah, beg my secrets out of me. Lol. No more dirty little secrets for me though. Just a bunch of normal kind of secrets. Though getting my confidant's name and address would be extremely difficult for everyone except (=. Yeah. 'Cause the confidants don't know that they're confidants. Ooo.

What's the big deal about secrets anyway. Well, some just can be used to break down a person to pieces. I've seen these things happen. Well, people. There are always secrets that, "if I told you, I'd have to kill (figure of speech) you". Make sure those ones don't leak out to the wrong people.

Dignity. In the name of Jesus Christ. Equivalent to perfection of Christ. Would you even think of such a goal? It's possible you know. And you need to be very close to God, to the point where His presence is always with you. To the point You'd skip anything readily for His sake. Don't try. Do. So all those uzur philosophers like to say. Anyway.
And now you face the face of everything that breaks you dow-wnnnn.
And what shall you do? 'Cause when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. What. True wert. Yeah, Lion King are smerter than you.

Join with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you. - Ph 3:17
That was Paul in letter to the Philippians. Follow. Haha. I got that out of thin air by the way. Then I went to Bible Gateway it. Tadaaaa.

One song. Switchfoot. Learning to Breathe. Good song la.

Verse
Hello, good morning, how You do?
What makes Your rising sun so new?
I could use a fresh beginning too
All of my regrets are nothing new
So this is the way that I say I need You
This is the way that I'm

Chorus
Learning to breathe
I'm learning to crawl
I'm finding that You and You alone can break my fall
I'm living again, awake and alive
I'm dying to breathe in these abundant skies

Verse 2
Hello, good morning, how You been?
Yesterday left my head kicked in
I never, never thought that
I would fall like that
Never knew that I could hurt this bad

Refrain
So this is the way I say I need You
This is the way that I say I love You
This is the way that I say I'm Yours

Over. Out. God bless.

We Are Who We Were When

Haha. I don't know why, deep down inside, I wasn't satisfied with my life. But as I look around, the grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side. Chrome's loading a few pages correct now. <3

And, yeah, seeing so many people in stress/sadness really makes me... feel for them. I sometimes feel I don't really deserve my life now. But all in all, that ain't for me to decide. Moonlight aglow, I shall take a bow. Good night.

A Day Late

Ehe. Merry Christmas, & a happy new year to all of you. =D

Anyway. Google Chrome (my beloved web browser) doesn't like me anymore. Loads ugleh webpages for no reason, and that loses all the blogging options on Blogspot!!! AH!

Pics for you (note: I'm just testing out to see whether my method of uploading pics faster than anyone else works =P, & also mess around):

Yeah. Problematic now. Google please fix (=. And woohoo, I uploaded the pics way faster than expected!

Note: The blue-bar browser is Google Chrome. The plain-bar browser with the orange fox swirl is Firefox, just so you know. They both are much better than Internet Explorer, which is a horrid thing, IMO.

Anyways, back to the year than could have been. Lol. 2008, This Is Our God was released by Hillsong. The album was a great one, songs that really touch.

Racked up personal achievements, and public achievements much more than I ever expected this year. It's fitting though. The Michaelians in my batch (the ones with the same age as me) aren't that good, although every time I say something like that, some Mark Siew pops up in the conversation. PLEASE. That's all you can say about them? Maybe there's a good footballer, a good speaker. But I haven't seen a solid show of dominance over many fields.

Anyway, my school junior batches are definitely worse off, so it's still even ground for them (=.

Then we have YACF Camp '08. Which was great stuff. Come for the next year camp, please? =D

Hmmm, what's in store for 2009?
  • Admin duty as Form 5's "study".
  • More admin duty in Scrabble after attain Veep post -.-
  • Going up strong in the U-18 category even though we're F4.
  • YACF/ISCF Camp '09 Port Dickson!
  • New syllabus to tackle, classmates to trash @ English or something
  • Watching people writhe in the face of the 3 letter Exam. 'Cause it's no fun.
  • Other things not coming to mind right now.
Anyway, times are getting better, though I expect life not to be easier for me.
