Testimony.

Well. OK. Haha. This is after The Reveal. I went to Ipoh Garden East to have lunch. Well, yea. Then the uncle of the stall aite. He's a friendly guy la. So while I'm ordering, he asks me whether I got pray for his leg anot.

Note: He was involved in an accident, injured his leg badly. He wasn't at the stall for a few months, his wife took care of it.

I was very blank, and answered truthfully la. I didn't. Then he asked whether I'm a Christian. I obviously answered yes la. Then he said, tomorrow (which is a Sunday) pray for me OK? Then I said "of course, uncle" with a smile. Then he told me this. He's a Christian! And he just converted a few months ago! =D

Well, the special thing about this is. When I pray for my food, I make it a habit to pray for the person who made the food. And I visit that specific stall 2-4 times a week. So yea =D. It worked! Thank you God (= =D =P =D (= =)

Edit: The best thing about this is that he's a really nice guy. Hahahahahahahaha.

Jer 33:6 - Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.

Echoes

One week late. Haha. Had one crazy weekend last week. Yeah. Lessee. It's nothing compared to a band Veeps' schedule, but nevertheless scarifying. We had:

  • Wednesday stayed back for marching. Then go home, kena pump petrol. Swt. Reach home, half an hour to prep for tuition.
  • Settling lots of stuff on the Thursday & Friday before. A multi-hour meeting with inefficient people doesn't help zero the stress. Each day tuition some more.
  • Saturday was River "Sit in friend's house for an hour and a half" -Run-. Then went around for lunch, and arranging the stall for the big fiesta on Sunday. Then ran around to print and photostat some stuff, and went for Youth. Waa-h. Then busy cari people for the next day to help out...
  • Sunday was Church in the morn, and then to school after a bath. The fiesta. Was kinda tense when the food wa-n't selling. And we messed up a Shuffling competition. Luckily it went OK, with decent talent coming out, and everything ironing itself out in the end.
  • Then went walk for a drink with friends, then walked back, and there again for dinner. Swt. Then malam-malam, concert & FIREWORKS!!! That was a 15-minute long show, that kept my jaw open, and went over my head, literally. Balik about 12 something.
  • Monday, wake up 530 for marching. Marched from Ipoh Padang to school. I think I did quite badly, though.
And, it was over! Lol. Went McD for lunch after marching with a friend. Swt.

Anyway, i'm still reeling from the aftermath.

Inspirasi?

Hmmm.
In the dark
In the darkness you will find
Dirty little secrets we all hide
Cause we all have a darker side
A place we keep where no one else will find
[Some where later in the song]
We all try to hide our secrets awayyyy.
Yeah, beg my secrets out of me. Lol. No more dirty little secrets for me though. Just a bunch of normal kind of secrets. Though getting my confidant's name and address would be extremely difficult for everyone except (=. Yeah. 'Cause the confidants don't know that they're confidants. Ooo.

What's the big deal about secrets anyway. Well, some just can be used to break down a person to pieces. I've seen these things happen. Well, people. There are always secrets that, "if I told you, I'd have to kill (figure of speech) you". Make sure those ones don't leak out to the wrong people.

Dignity. In the name of Jesus Christ. Equivalent to perfection of Christ. Would you even think of such a goal? It's possible you know. And you need to be very close to God, to the point where His presence is always with you. To the point You'd skip anything readily for His sake. Don't try. Do. So all those uzur philosophers like to say. Anyway.
And now you face the face of everything that breaks you dow-wnnnn.
And what shall you do? 'Cause when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. What. True wert. Yeah, Lion King are smerter than you.

Join with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you. - Ph 3:17
That was Paul in letter to the Philippians. Follow. Haha. I got that out of thin air by the way. Then I went to Bible Gateway it. Tadaaaa.

One song. Switchfoot. Learning to Breathe. Good song la.

Verse
Hello, good morning, how You do?
What makes Your rising sun so new?
I could use a fresh beginning too
All of my regrets are nothing new
So this is the way that I say I need You
This is the way that I'm

Chorus
Learning to breathe
I'm learning to crawl
I'm finding that You and You alone can break my fall
I'm living again, awake and alive
I'm dying to breathe in these abundant skies

Verse 2
Hello, good morning, how You been?
Yesterday left my head kicked in
I never, never thought that
I would fall like that
Never knew that I could hurt this bad

Refrain
So this is the way I say I need You
This is the way that I say I love You
This is the way that I say I'm Yours

Over. Out. God bless.

We Are Who We Were When

Haha. I don't know why, deep down inside, I wasn't satisfied with my life. But as I look around, the grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side. Chrome's loading a few pages correct now. <3

And, yeah, seeing so many people in stress/sadness really makes me... feel for them. I sometimes feel I don't really deserve my life now. But all in all, that ain't for me to decide. Moonlight aglow, I shall take a bow. Good night.

Disarray

Lifehouse - Disarray

Verse 1
I've faced my demons
Wrestling these angels to the ground
And all that I could find
Was a thin line between
All the saints and villains
It was crossed in my own minds

Chorus
Someday I'm gonna find it
Wish I knew what I was looking for
Inside the disarray (inside the disarray)
I woke up this morning
Don’t know where I’m going
But it’s alright
I wouldn't have it any other way

Verse 2
Struggling between the facts and fiction
I’m alone
But I'm alive
Everyone around me is trying to make a statement, then there's me
I’m just trying to survive

Chorus
Someday I'm gonna find it
Wish I knew what I was looking for
Inside the disarray (inside the disarray)
I woke up this morning
Don’t know where I’m going
But it’s alright
I wouldn't have it any other way

Bridge/Interlude
If this was any other day
I pretend to know where I stand
I Just don’t know (just don’t know)
I Just don’t know

Chorus
Someday I'm gonna find it
Wish I knew what I was looking for
Inside the disarray (inside the disarray)
I woke up this morning
Don’t know where I’m going
But it’s alright
I wouldn't have it any other way

Yeah... Been listening to songs again, at last. God really works, given solace at the right time of my life. 2009, bring it on! It's not gonna be mine to claim though. All to the One above!

It's Over!

Yes, the year's officially over for me (=. Yes, my calendar looks weird. Don't worry. Ended my Christmas eve celebrations, Christmas stuff, um, etc. etc. Although I forgot to handout my presents properly. Oh oh.

Anyway, results on the 30th. I really need to pray for this. Although it's kinda late =).

Anyway peeps, got to work out all the food I've been cleaning up for others. I'm such a good person (=. Shoot me.

Apathy.

Because. It's me.

Abel is floating around aimlessly, looking for solid ground. And is also trying to comprehend talent.

And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”
To lose is worse than not to have at all.

Why can't I find it again?

PMR is Over!

"The academic battle of the year is over, but a battle that's been on since the beginning of Man won't be until JESUS comes again." - Anonymous

Just can't help it. Awesome quote.

So, it's over. BUT, there are alot of things that are not.

To-do list:
  • Youth presentation
  • Sports (Yay football!)
  • Help my friend achieve 100% attendance
  • Get fit
  • Help class become chess & football champs in the Form
Peace!

Oh, BTW, the drop in 2007's PMR standards wasn't a election thing, it's consistent this year. Let's see.

  • BM - Paper 1 was a tough nut to crack, but everyone's complaining. Paper 2 was easy.
  • English - Set a new record for Paper 1. 9 minutes. Paper 2 was normal.
  • Science - Ha.  Paper 1 was... uneventful. Paper 2 has everyone complaining. I think I did quite well though.
  • Maths - Nonsense. I can score 90+ for this, with good hope for 95+.
  • History - Stumbling paper. All the difficult chapters came out, not much familiar questions, neither any medium-level ones. It's gonna be a spoiler for this year.
  • KH - Nonsense... Everything was guessable.
  • Geography - Ha... was kind of easy, but it's harder than usual.
Weather forecast: 5A's, maybe a tripper in the form of Geography, and if you're pessimistic, KH and Science. Sejarah and BM are 2 wild bullets.

Disappear?

Friday was report card day... It was kind of... freaky at first. I was expecting these things to happen:
  • My class teacher to touch on my responsibility (or maybe lack of it) as the monitor
  • My class teacher to touch on the blank pages in my maths book (I really, really forgot about it - true, but not very believable)
  • Parents to nag a bit on my results
  • Friends to fly off to Parkson, stranding me at school
Out of those 4, none of them happened. Let's break it down:

  • My class teacher to touch on my responsibility (or maybe lack of it) as the monitor
Well, maybe I did a decent job.
  • My class teacher to touch on the blank pages in my maths book (I really, really forgot about it - true, but not very believable)
Her tummy wasn't giving her a nice time, so she said.
  • Parents to nag a bit on my results
I only got 2 Bs, and if I said I studied for the exam, it wouldn't be a complete truth.
  • Friends to fly off to Parkson, stranding me at school
They all went back home, leaving enough to keep me entertained.

Learnt how to play Chinese Chess, although I'm not really in to it. Later, had CF. Altar call. Was... good as usual. Ben "overprayed", and they tried to carry him into the car, but they failed. They were on deadline, shorty. Later at night, Shas called me over to "wash" his car. He had an accident, if you didn't know. Ended up watching Ben and Shas play Winning Eleven (as usual), get high abit and then went to the fun fair. Won a priceless keychain... A Spiderman keychain! (If you don't get it, then, stay that way). Oh, Shas, you forgot to get your minions to wash your car!

Saturday... wasn't anything special, so let's just got to the interesting part. Watched a message at youth on the Hillsong "All of the Above" DVD, entitled "A Generation of Light". Was an interesting message. After that, did nothing really interesting.

Sunday, Sunday. Forgot some stuff for fellow church members. Reminded, and will bring them next week, I promise. Besides that, I'm not emo actually, just very, very drowsy. But that makes me emo, so whatever.

Managed to clear up any doubts about the CF treasury (I'm the treasurer), and some things just fell into place by pure coincidence (read: God's will). Also found out some interesting things today =).

Dancing with Death

Today was... interesting to say the least. Only one teacher entered today, and there wasn't any homework given. Much later, my friend, who is a Hindu came walking with a book titled, "What The Bible Really Teaches". He was asking theological questions, and by chance (read: God's will), I brought my Bible along to school, for no apparent reason. Me and Joses checked through the book, and found multiple flaws, for example, quoting Genesis, then quoting Isaiah, while having half the statement in 1 chapter and another chapter. It's like chopping up your sentences in half, and joining them together to get what you want to say, instead of what the person really said.

Among the falsehoods contained within the book was the Satan was the king of the earth. This is bad, as God is still the upper authority about what happens on the earth. As said in Job, Satan asked God for "permission" to take away Job's possessions to test his faith. Beyond that, they say that only 144,000 Christians will go to heaven and live in eternal paradise. Isn't this a bit unfair? And this is obviously drawn from the marking of the 144,000 in Revelation (Rev 7:4), which only marks 12,000 people from each of the 12 tribes of Israel. The only correct "interpretation" of this is that only if you have blood from one of the tribes of Israel, then only will you stand a chance to enter Heaven.

One of the main problems, though, is that they use their own Bible translation, that is the "New World Translation". This translation has many "oddities" and weird translations, so it is certainly not reliable. As quoted from Wikipedia:

"The New World Translation has been criticized as either adding or selectively translating certain portions of the Bible to conform to Jehovah's Witness doctrine."

Therefore, please DO NOT follow Jehovah Witnesses' teachings. By the way, they also use selective quoting of the Bible to make statements. Please, please, please, always go back to the Scriptures.

In conclusion, Jehovah's Witnesses is a lost cult, that bases its beliefs on its own translation, misquotes the Bible, even. Please, people, keep alert and pray. The end times are coming, and I need to bathe. And do stuff. Good night.
